May 24, 2026 The Day of Pentecost

The Day of Pentecost (Shavuot - weeks) had come, 49 days of counting the Omer beginning at Passover was complete. Now the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) begins with another Wave offering, a Sheaf of Wheat and other offerings. Also referred to as the Feast of Ingathering.

The 7 commemorative feasts (Leviticus 23) were all shadows of things to come. The Feast of Ingathering (Pentecost) was about giving thanks for the harvest. The Harvest to come. We are to take the GoodNew into the world and receive all who will come.  What has now come is the Holy Spirit, who is giving evidence that Jesus is risen. We are to share to GoodNews that a New and Living way now is here. This Way has once again opened the door to our Heavenly Father.  We are comissioned to share this GoodNews until the Coming of our Lord. The last 3 Feasts are yet to be fulfilled. They tell another story of redeeming love that we will get to in time.
