November 2, 2025; Pressing Toward the Goal

Philippians 3:12-14 "Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

What is the prize? That your name is written in the Book of Life. The favorite subject of Jesus was His Father and the Eternal Everlasting Kingdom.  Hear what scripture declares, "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." The Word of God has much to say about what is coming, both good and bad.
